The Apple Store

It might be considered slightly odd that I've now seen the inside of an Apple Store twice and both this time, and my previous visit, were to the store in Old Pasadena. It's not as if there isn't already a store in the UK, or another two more opening soon in late April.

You know, I think I've been here before...

So of course I almost bought myself an iPod Shuffle, but in the end I managed to resist the temptation. I also managed to resist the temptation of a Mac mini, and despite the difference in price, it was a lot harder to resist the Mac mini...

The iPod Shuffle...

...and the Mac mini.

Am I correct in thinking to travel to the US these days you have to provide your fingerprints?

Did you? If you did...how long does it take? WHat do you think about it?

  2. Yup, you have to be fingerprinted and have a picture taken. The fingerprinting is electronic, as is the picture and now that everyone on both sides of the immigration desk has got used to it, it doesn't seem to take much longer than before.

What do I think about it? Well, I'm not exactly happy with the current situation. Of course, there is worse on the horizon.
